In our home state of Kansas, the rules for conditions and health care for puppies is more exacting and demanding than the standards established by the federal government. We choose from only the best of the breeders who have the highest standards of cleanliness and health care. Each of our breeder/ suppliers furnishes an up-to-date record of the health care and vaccines each puppy has received.
During their stay with us, this high standard of care continues from the moment they arrive through the time they are delivered to your local pet distributor. The health care procedures we provide each puppy are added to the digital record that will accompany the pup to the retailer.
While at Lambriar®, each puppy receives an examination from one of our full-time veterinarians along with any preventative vaccines and wormers. This is done to assure protection against preventable disease.
At Lambriar®, puppies stay in the cleanest quarters possible and are fed a premium blend of pet food. These procedures have been developed through our years of experience in caring for animals. Our night technicians monitor the environmental temperature and ventilation to assure puppy comfort.
The puppies’ transportation to the pet store is also part of their stay with us. They are carried to the point of delivery on our company-owned, climate controlled, custom outfitted vehicles. Each of these vehicles has redundant heating and air-conditioning systems that ensure that the pups are always in a climate controlled environment. In addition, there are two Lambriar® employees on each transport vehicle, one focused on driving safely, the other maintaining the quality of care for the pups. Our customized transportation maintains conditions much like children in car seats. As a result, puppies sleep most of the trip to your pet retailer.
